Step-5

Step-1
Download the Navoto Theme Package
Begin by downloading the Navoto theme package. It’s an easy-to-use WordPress Elementor theme designed for hotels, resorts, and accommodations. With a user-friendly editor and pre-built websites, it’s perfect for setting up booking sites effortlessly.
Step-2
Create a Database on Your New Web Server
- Log into your hosting account and open cPanel from the main menu.
- Under the Databases section, click MySQL Databases.
- Enter a name for your new database under Create a New Database and hit Create Database. Remember this name—you’ll need it later.
- To manage the database, create a new user: – Enter a username and password under Add a New User and click Create User.
- Next, connect the user to the database: – Scroll down to Add a User to a Database. Select both the new user and database from the dropdown lists, and click Add.
- On the Manage User Privileges page, check the ALL PRIVILEGES box and click Make Changes to give the user full access.
Step-3
Upload Your Navoto Theme Package to Your New Host
Now that your database is ready, it’s time to upload the site files using the Duplicator package
Note: There’s no need to install WordPress manually—Duplicator will handle it as part of the installation process.
Follow these steps:
- In cPanel, upload both the installer.php and archive.zip files to the root directory (e.g., public_html or www).
- Open a browser and go to:
http://yourdomain.com/installer.php (replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain). - The Duplicator wizard will launch. Enter the database name, username, and password you created earlier. Leave the host as localhost.
- Click Test Connection. If everything is correct, a confirmation message will appear.
- Click Run Deployment to proceed.
- On the next screen, verify the old and new URLs. If the domain remains the same, they should match.
- Click Run Update to complete the installation.
Step-4
Point Your Domain to Your New Host
With your site now installed on the new server, the next step is to update your domain to point to the new hosting environment.
- Find the new nameservers for your host. Your hosting provider will provide at least two nameservers that link your domain to your new server. These are usually easy to find in your hosting account.
- Log into your domain registrar (like GoDaddy or Namecheap) and replace the old nameservers with the new ones provided by your hosting service.
- Be aware that DNS changes can take up to 48 hours to fully propagate across the internet, though it often happens sooner.
Step-5
Verify Your New Website
Once the domain points to the new server, it’s time to ensure everything works smoothly.
- Visit your site and browse through as many pages as possible to confirm that all content displays correctly.
- Check for broken links or missing images—if anything didn’t transfer properly, use your backup files to replace it.
- If all looks good, your visitors won’t notice any disruption during the migration, as your site should remain online and fully functional throughout the process.
